As a consultant I specialise in human resources and procurement opportunities. I have many years of professional and entrepreneurial experience within the resources, engineering and recruiting industries in the UK, Australia and now New Zealand. And in these roles I’ve worked with senior management to deliver simple, yet effective, solutions to their business expansion and improvement. Having also built and run my own companies, I really understand the importance of getting staffing and cultural fit right for success.
I’m a strong advocate for strategic business development, high quality service delivery and stakeholder engagement. My engineering background has given me exposure to all levels of management and leadership, where I’ve built long-lasting relationships globally. This has been invaluable when finding specialists and general staff, and delivering that ‘right person’ to my clients. My understanding of budgets, change management and strategic business expansion has been of great value working alongside my clients to help deliver positive outcomes for their organisations.
Very much a people person, I enjoy the engagement, challenge and ultimate success in getting it right. I’ve been described as tenacious and full of life and really enjoy people interaction. My move to New Zealand was one of those big, life change decisions, after visiting on business and falling in love with New Zealand’s culture and beauty.
